What gutter cleaning with us looks like
Gum leaves, jacaranda flowers and casuarina needles all end up in the gutter. Once it's full, water spills over the front edge in heavy rain, stains the walls below and pools against the foundations. In bushfire-prone streets, a full gutter is also a fuel load sitting on your roof.
We clear the gutters by hand and with a gutter vacuum, bag the debris, then flush every downpipe to make sure the water reaches the drain. If the gutter is sagging, rusted through or missing a guard, we take photos so you can decide what to fix.

How often should gutters be cleaned?
Under big gums, every three to six months. Most other homes are fine with once a year, before summer storms.
Do gutter guards stop the need for cleaning?
They cut it down, but fine debris and seed pods still get through, so guarded gutters need a check and flush every year or two.
Do you take the leaves away?
Yes. Everything is bagged and removed unless you'd like it for compost.
Can you clean gutters on a three storey home?
Usually, yes. We assess access on the day and use roof anchors where needed.
Will you tell me if a gutter needs replacing?
Yes. We take photos of rust, leaks or sagging sections so you can show a roofer.
Can gutters be done with a roof clean?
Yes. Roof treatment kills moss slowly over about 12 months, so the dead growth reaches the gutters over the year. Clearing them after that is worth booking.
