Deck cleaning

What deck cleaning with us looks like

Timber decks go grey in the sun and black in the shade. Leaf stains, mould and old oil sit in the grain. The quick fix, a high-pressure blast, lifts the timber fibres and leaves the deck furry and splintery.

We clean decks with a timber cleaner and low pressure, working along the grain. If you're re-oiling, we tell you when the timber is dry enough, which is usually a couple of sunny days later.

Tannin bleed on new decks

New hardwood decks bleed tannin, a brown stain that runs onto paving below. It settles down after a few months. We can clean the stains off the paving once the deck has stopped bleeding.
