Graffiti removal

What graffiti removal with us looks like

Graffiti on a front fence or wall is worth removing quickly. Fresh paint lifts more completely, and a wall that's cleaned straight away is less of a target than one that's left.

There's no single method. Spray paint on smooth render comes off differently to marker on sandstone or paint on porous brick. We test a graffiti remover on a small area, let it work, then rinse at the pressure the surface can take. On painted walls, sometimes the best answer is a touch-up, and we'll tell you if that's the case.

Step 04 of 04

Check

We check for shadowing and tell you about any touch-up needed.

Why some graffiti leaves a shadow

Porous surfaces like sandstone, brick and unsealed concrete soak paint into their pores. Most of it comes out with the right remover, but a faint shadow can remain on old tags. Smooth, sealed or painted surfaces usually clean up completely or need a paint touch-up.

Making the next one easier

On walls that get tagged often, a protective sealer can make future graffiti easier to remove. We can talk through whether it suits your surface.

Call 0416 007 745
Can graffiti be removed from sandstone?

Usually, with a remover suited to stone and low pressure. Old paint in porous sandstone can leave a faint shadow.

Will removing graffiti damage my render?

Not with the right remover and pressure. We test first. On painted render, a touch-up can be the better option.

How soon should graffiti be removed?

As soon as you can. Fresh paint comes off more completely.

Can you remove graffiti from a Colorbond fence?

Yes, with a remover that won't harm the coating.

Can you stop graffiti coming back?

Not entirely, but removing it quickly and sealing walls that get tagged often both help.

Do you remove graffiti from public property?

No. Graffiti on public property should be reported to the council. We clean private homes and buildings.
