Concrete cleaning
What concrete cleaning with us looks like
Concrete looks tough, but it's porous. Mould, tyre marks, oil, rust from garden furniture and black lichen spots all settle into the surface. Left long enough, the whole slab goes a shade darker and the original colour disappears.
We clean concrete with a rotary surface cleaner so the finish is even, then treat the stains that water won't move. Coloured and stencilled concrete gets lower pressure so the coating or colour layer isn't stripped.

Concrete pressure washing
Concrete pressure washing, concrete pressure cleaning and concrete cleaning are the same job. On plain concrete we use a rotary surface cleaner for an even finish, then treat any stains it leaves behind.
Black spots that won't go
Small black spots on concrete are usually lichen, not dirt. They grip the surface and survive pressure cleaning. A treatment kills them, and they fade over the following weeks as the weather breaks them down.

Can you remove oil stains from concrete?
Fresh oil comes out well. Old stains that have soaked in usually fade a lot but can leave a shadow.
Will pressure cleaning damage my concrete?
Not at the right pressure. Old or weak concrete can lose surface fines, so we test first.
Should concrete be sealed after cleaning?
Sealing makes the next clean easier and protects against oil. It's optional.
Can you clean coloured concrete?
Yes, at reduced pressure so the colour coat isn't stripped.
How long until I can drive on it?
Straight away after cleaning. After sealing, wait the time the sealer specifies.
What causes rust marks on concrete?
Metal furniture, pots, fertiliser and bore water. Rust needs a specific remover.
