Paver cleaning and sealing
What paver cleaning with us looks like
Pavers move water through their joints, which is good for drainage and bad for weeds, moss and ants. Over time the joint sand washes out, the pavers rock underfoot and the surface goes green in the shade.
We clean pavers with a rotary surface cleaner, then re-sand the joints with a fine or polymeric sand once they're dry. If you want sealing, we apply a sealer matched to the paver, usually a breathable penetrating one.

Bluestone needs its own approach
Bluestone is dense but shows every mark. It dislikes acid and some sealers darken it a lot. We test sealers on a spare paver or hidden corner first.

Do pavers need sealing?
Not always. Sealing helps on driveways, pool areas and entertaining spaces.
Will cleaning wash out the joint sand?
Some, yes. That's why we re-sand afterwards.
What is polymeric sand?
Joint sand with a binder that sets when wet, which resists washout and weeds.
How long does paver sealer last?
Usually three to five years outdoors, depending on traffic and sun.
Can you seal bluestone?
Yes, with a tested sealer, because some darken bluestone a lot.
Can you level rocking pavers?
Minor lifting, yes. Major relaying is a job for a paver.
